My knowledge of Sisterlocks came to me one day at work in 2003 from a co-worker. At the time I wore a hair weave and sometimes braids. I would go between hair weaves and Braid extensions. After 10 years of unsatisfactory results from beauticians, hair braiders, and hair loss, Sisterlocks seemed an answered prayer for me. I started my journey with Sisterlocks™ on June 14, 2003. I discovered that my own kinky hair is beautiful.
Sisterlocks™ is not just a hair style, its a lifestyle. Its versatile, its manageable, its fun, its a new way of seeing yourself. Once into Sisterlocks™ you will start to love your hair even more. I wanted to share this experience that I enjoyed so much with other sisters, so I took the course and started installing Sisterlocks in 2004 as a Sisterlock trainee. I am now certified as a Sisterlocks locktician.
